President's Message
Dear friends and colleagues,
Welcome to the Northwest Ohio Human Resources Association (NOHRA)! We are happy you have made the commitment to participate in an organization that will enrich and enlighten you both professionally and personally. NOHRA is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), a community of 300,000+ HR and business leaders across the globe, committed to serving Human Resources professionals and their affiliated organizations.
We are dedicated to being an advocate on the most critical issues facing workplaces and the Human Resources profession. Our programming continues to position NOHRA as the leading authority in Northwest Ohio for providing expertise and consultation on current and emerging trends in Human Resources to our members and the communities where we live and work. As such, we have a multitude of activities planned for the upcoming year. Additionally, please take a moment to review the wealth of information offered on our website toledoshrm.org. Our chapter also periodically sends out email blasts to our membership highlighting important program information, legislative updates, and other relevant information affecting the Human Resources profession.
The success of our chapter is a direct result of all our efforts. We truly are better together! From volunteer Board members and committee chairs to program participants, we all play a role in keeping our profession at the forefront of regulatory changes and providing solutions to the complexities that face our ever-changing workforce. Your participation in NOHRA will provide many opportunities to learn and engage, not only in our great programming, but through networking, volunteering, and community connection. I encourage you to join a committee or simply speak to one of our Board members regarding how you can get involved in positively impacting our local communities. I assure you, you won’t regret it. — Come join the fun!
I look forward to meeting you at one of our NOHRA membership meetings, programs, or events!
Warmly & sincerely,
Kendallyn Jacobs, aPHR, SHRM-CPbr> President
