The purpose of the Northwest Ohio Human Resource Association (NOHRA) is to promote the enlightened practice of the Human Resources discipline, to enhance the professional and personal development of individuals engaged in the practice of human resources, and to provide occasions for the interchange of ideas and information among those who are members of the organization.

• How can I find the meeting information once it has been removed from Event Registration?

  Answer: Click on "Events" tab at the top of the page; then click on the NOHRA Calendar link. This will provide you with the location and time of the meeting.

• How can I sponsor an event?

  Answer: Sponsor information can be found by clicking on the "Sponsors" tab at the top of the page.

• Can I attend a meeting or other event without being a member?

  Answer: Absolutely! Click on the "Events" tab at the top of the page; then click on the "Meeting and Events" link. You can register as a non-member on the NOHRA Events Page.

• Why is my credit card declined when I register for an event?

  Answer: It is most commonly because the billing address for the card does not match the address you entered on the website. If you use your company’s credit card, you will need the company’s billing address. If you use your own personal credit card, you will need the billing address where you receive your personal credit card statement (usually your home address, but could also be a P.O. Box). If you still have problems, contact us.

• How can I become involved in NOHRA?

  Answer: There are many opportunities in which to get involved. Several committees need assistance to plan and carry out events (e.g., Student Relations is always looking for speakers to assist the student SHRM Chapters, HRCI needs facilitators for study groups, Community Service uses volunteers to assist with the selected non-profit agency, Social uses a lot of volunteers for the Golf Outing and Silent Auction).
