LafargeHolcim Job Opening: Compensation and Mobility Manager, Dundee MI
PURPOSE
The LafargeHolcim Compensation & Mobility Manager plans, develops and implements US compensation programs for the Aggregate and Cement businesses. This position ensures that company compensation programs are consistently administered per LafargeHolcim policies and government requirements; and oversees the Company’s mobility programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices, evaluates options and recommends competitive changes consistent with Company compensation practices.
- As a subject matter expert, counsel’s managers on compensation practices including candidate and employee compensation, policy application, and job evaluations.
- Oversees job evaluation process.
- Designs creative solutions for compensation programs and incentive plans (e.g., sales incentive plans, retention compensation for certain positions, etc.).
- Creates compensation program communication material (e.g., plan descriptions, policies, FAQs, etc.) for employee distribution.
- Develops presentations and delivers compensation information sessions for all stakeholders.
- Oversees Company compensation survey participation and reviews data to evaluate market competitiveness and internal equity, and brings recommendations to the Director, Total Rewards.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable wage and hour federal, state and local compensation requirements.
- Manages mobility programs and team for Canada and the U.S., including immigration and relocation.
- Other duties as assigned.
RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER JOBS
- Works with all HR team members to assess needs, identify, evaluate, and implement solutions.
- Works closely with Global Compensation Group as required.
- Works with American Business Services shared services organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree is a plus
Field of Study Preferred: Human Resources, Finance, or other related area of study
Required Work Experience: At least seven years of experience as a compensation analyst and/or manager, performing the full scope of compensation activities
Required Training/Certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
Required Computer and Software Skills: Extremely proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel, Google Suite, or other data and analytics platforms
