HR Generalist – Benefits
Aktion Associates, Inc. is a national ERP software Reseller in the top 10 of the VAR 100 reseller market. We have a high growth technical environment with a workforce of over 200 professionals. We have a (3) year growth initiative to build our total workforce to 300. The workforce is highly skilled and consist of application consultants, software engineers, and networking engineers located throughout the U.S.
Role and Responsibilities
Employee health and welfare benefits
Administration of employee benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, FSA, Dependent Care, 401K.
Own 401K compliance, including mid year and end of year testing, 401K audit and filing of 5500
Manage Annual Employee Benefits audit and filing of 5500
Lead entire open enrollment process
Monthly reconciliation of vendor invoices and ensure timely payment
Maintain Onboarding/Benefit system
Key role in maintaining payroll and benefit vendor relationship
Recruitment
Participate in recruiting and lead the onboarding for new hires
Editing and opening requisitions to internal/external sites
Managing daily information/candidate data tracking and completing offer letters
Scheduling interviews and providing information to the client as needed
Education, Experience and Skills
Associates degree in Human Resources or Finance (Bachelor degree a plus)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience HR system
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration
Previous experience with Paycor is preferred
Advanced experience using Excel/ pivot tables
Critical Thinker / ability to problem solve
Ability to multitask in a fast environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
