Position Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting the processes for all Human Resource related functions for internal client groups, specifically in recruitment, talent and performance management, benefits and compensation, compliance communications, employee and organizational development, and leadership development and training. Your ultimate mission is to provide outstanding customer service in developing, implementing and maintaining human resource systems that supports the business. This is a $25M division of a $300M manufacturing organization. High growth, well led with opportunity for growth.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and counsel regarding human resources aspects of plant operations. Actively engage and learns all areas of the business to serve as a strategic business partner in HR interactions
- Handle all phases of the staffing process including requisition, recruitment, interview and selection as well as reference checks and issuing employment contracts
- Manage employee relations issues and work closely with leaders/teams to handle these issues effectively. Strives to discover root cause and works with the appropriate people to improve systems
- Research, recommend and coordinates training programs to all levels of the organization
- Administers performance review process and assists management in communication of results to employees
- Form solid partnerships with employees and leaders to foster high levels of teamwork, development, and trust and performance companywide.
- Work closely with General Manager and business line leadership to ensure alignment with corporate and site goals/mission
- Manage specific projects as determined in the HR planning process and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives
- Responsible for on-boarding and orientation for new employees; updating records accordingly
- Handle benefit administration, inquiries and paperwork
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice
Experience Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of employee relations and performance management programs
- Proven ability in recruitment, on-boarding, orientation and retention as well as talent management
- Demonstrated understanding of all employment laws and their practical application in the workplace including but not limited to: EEO, FMLA, FLSA, HIPPA, ADA, etc.
- Proven project and time management skills, prioritization; and ability to influence, build credibility and persuade others
- Entrepreneurial spirit – demonstrating the ability to take initiative, work at a fast pace with limited oversight
- Ability to record, monitor and analyze metrics and general trends to make continuous improvement efforts
- The ability to multi-task, meeting all deadlines, demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must have a customer service attitude and be able to collaborate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
Education Requirement:
