Position Description:
We are seeking interested and qualified and experienced candidates to be considered for the Human Resource Manager position to lead the HR Department for Windsor Mold Group, Precision Automotive Plastics manufacturing facility in Bellevue OH. Qualified candidates will have experience managing a robust HR department and strong knowledge of employment law and practices.
Position High-Level Overview:
- Strategic development of Human Resource teams and services
- Collaboration of HR resources between departments
- Leadership development and succession planning for managers and key leadership
- Defining and managing to key business metrics
- Talent acquisition and manpower planning
- Developing procedures and processes for HR teams
- Compliance and legal training
- HR Champion partnering with operations on safety, quality control and environmental management systems
- Compensation and benefit management
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop, support, manage and coach HR team members. Responsible for development of an efficient and effective HR team to meet the needs of the facility.
- Drive recruitment and retention actives to meet manpower needs and key metrics.
- Lead plant HR policy and procedure communication & implementation as needed to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards and legal requirements.
- Manage employee benefits to include processes for enrollments, terminations and audits for all benefit plans and COBRA.
- Responsible for managing unemployment claims and Worker’s Compensation claims.
- Collaborate with department managers to develop, coordinate, and implement workplace initiatives to increase safety, quality, and productivity.
- Collaborate with department managers on development & implementation of training programs to improve work force and maintain consistency within operations and corporation.
- Review and mediate disciplinary investigations.
- Implement and coordinate succession planning development actions as necessary.
- Maintain and update regulatory compliance as required.
- Demonstrate community relations by involvement in local activities.
- Champion environmental and safety programs for facility.
- Ensure performance goals are met for Management Review metrics.
We are seeking candidates with the following experience and education:
- 5+ years experience managing an HR department
- PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree with HR program emphasis strongly preferred
- HR experience in manufacturing a strong plus
- Experience with designing and implementing training and development programs
- Safety and Environmental program and regulation knowledge
